    Ads/Coupons In Forum Set Up
    Hi there.

I have seen a few forums around that have ads and coupons added in post threads. I'm kinda interested in creating such a forum, but I'm not really sure as to how the ads and coupons are added in posts (they would be the first post, as in "new post"), I doubt very much that they're added manually, so I'm assuming there's some kind of way that these are "generated", I'm just not sure how so I'd appreciate any help in doing this?

    Nobody knows?

I'd post a link to one, but I don't want to abuse the forum rules...

You should contact the forum administrator or the software company if it's listed at the bottom of the screen.

I don't think posting the URL of a forum is a violation of ABW rules. My understanding is that only referer links aren't allowed.

    Thanks for the help here.

I have forwarded the link to Haiko. I must admit to writing off to the forum admin/forum owner, but never got a reply and there's nothing that I could see at the bottom of the page, that might help me find how the forum (or at least parts of it) works.

That's what I had done, but I've sent the link again using the above link.

Th link you sent is for an affiliate coupon forum, you may not post that. Is your question how to get a forum like that? If so, the link to do that is:

    http://www.invisionboard.com/board/

If your question is something else then please post that.

What I am trying to find out is how they can have the posts "generated" automatically, rather than adding the posts "manually"? I know many of the posts are added by someone/members "manually", but there's many that are added by some kind of set up that's used.

lufbra, Haiko provided a link for you to the message board service. There is a toll free number on the page he posted. Don't you think you should pursue your questions there?

I must have read it the wrong way, I thought he meant how to get the forum set up itself, not the content of the forums which really has nothing to do with Invisionboard. The forum in question was just as an "example" of what's added to it, which I suspect can be added to any or most forum software.
