    Forum Posting
Forum signatures do play an important role in SERPs. But i do have a query regarding forum posting.

Case A: Participating in 40 forums and posting 10 posts in a month/each forum = 400 posts in 1 month
Case B: Participating in 5 forums and posting 5 posts a day in each forum = 5X5X30 =750 posts in 1 month

In which case, the forum posting would be better to result in higher SERP? Please do not consider the number of posts into consideration.

Please do suggest me ..... Thanx in advance.

Unless the forums are relevant to your sites, all the posting in the world won't help.

Forums aren't for posting links, they are for participating in communities with like minded individuals.

    Hi!

Just pick forums relevant to your niche, with heavy traffic and which have high PR as well. This would help a lot.

But forum posting, just as Loxly said isn't just for advertising of gaining favorable SERP's. You should be able to make a positive contribution to their communities as well.

    SEO? PR?

If there's even a hint you're using "US" for your pagerank, you'll loose all crediibility here.

Sig links etc are for YouTube and MySpace.

Billy is right I get traffic like crazy from myspace and even better traffic from youtube. No one is buying anything but who cares.

    None of the above.

If you ever ran a forum, you would know that people who are there just to drop links are usually not welcome. If that's your only reason for being there, or here, than you'll send up doing more harm than good.

Try participating in a forum, make contributions, help when you can, then your link would be welcome. Tryng to figure out a formula just to help yourself and get traffic will work against you, especially here.

if you spam forums with sig links, they'll stick nofollow tags, or you'll ruin it for everyone if they turn sigs off completely.

Posting links in your signature won't help your SERPs. You might get traffic, but it won't help your SEO, and as Loxly mentioned, unless the forum is related, it won't help you make $ anyway.

If you are looking for more traffic (not SEO), consider posting good articles to article submission sites with links back to your related websites.
