OK, who broke the internet today?
Does anyone know what is going on with the internet today? All lot of sites are down. Even MSN is down. At least Google is still up. I checked the internet health report and it is showing problems in "global crossings".

This stuff always bugs me, because I remember when the whole idea behind the internet was to ensure the rerouting of communications in case of a nuclear war (back in the days of the cold war). However, in practice it sure doesn't work. At least not now days.

    In practice nothing works.

Well I dunno what's going on either. All I know is my web sites are up and I can send email but I can't receive it *and* my host (who is in Canada but my servers are in the US) hasn't replied to my SOS message. Which is very uncharacteristic.

I believe I'll have a beer and watch the ball game.

My corner of the interweb has been sick for several days but it seems to be feeling a bit better today.

Oh good, I was afraid it was my fault and I had my 'I'm sorry" speech written and ready to deliver...(but then I apologize to grocery store carts when I bump into them, too).

Nope. Nothing's broke at our Internet neighborhood. Oh, uh, well, my wife accidentally unplugged our dsl router. But, nope, nothing wrong with the Internet here.

I was viewing www.internetpulse.net . It is still showing a bit of touble, but nothing like it was earlier today. I was hoping maybe someone had heard some news regarding something messing up the net today.

This evening everything seems to be working fine though. Well... that is everything is working fine if you don't count the fact I just accidently overwrote a page I had spent several hours working on. #$%^&*
