Does anyone else find CJ's report system extremely confusing?
I've been trying to look back at past data to generate a progress report,
and after creating report after report, the resulting format seemed almost random.
Sometimes there was a clickable 'detail' to a transaction. Sometimes there wasn't. Somehow, one time I got a list of all events by date--which was nice, but none of the events were clickable. Sometimes, clicking detail brought up the advertiser's pop-up page, which is useless when you're trying to figure out what kind of link did what when for whom.
I feel foolish to admit I really don't even know what the difference is between a performance report and a transaction report. Why not just have a clear, easy to read...report?

Their reports are pretty easy to read and understand. For transaction reports, it's basically a transaction-level report that features click dates, order dates, SID field, order ID, and lead description. There are a number of ways to run transaction reports, so I suggest running each one and figuring out the differences.
Performance reports are basically like executive summaries - You can sort by advertiser, your websites, or the specific link you're using on your site, and get a quick summary about number of clicks, impressions, leads, sales, and related stats. There's also a nifty graphical representation of the month. I use transaction reports for my own custom tracking spreadsheet that I've done, and only eyeball the performance reports occasionally.

Oh, and be thankful you haven't tried figuring out LinkShare's reporting section... Now that's confusing.

Does anyone find that CJ reports don't always agree with themselves? Sometimes a transaction shows up in one report, but not in another (even under the 'show all transactions' tab).
And sometimes I get a report (format) that seems especially useful, but then it seems to 'vanish' -- I can't find it again.
