Experts: Google Doesn't Police Advertisers (Malware)
It's something Google should handle. You don't want people scared to click on the advertising.

Lack of strict policing is likely the one thing that could really threaten Google's revenue. If people come to believe that ads are evil, they're baked.

I've recently seen ads for Vomba (a twin sister of Zango) running in Adsense... why would G allow this crap!

Because they get paid for it.

Just my opinion, getting them to do anything that would police the revenue stream is next to impossible. I had some Adsense on a site that had "Advice for Adults" in the title. (It was about monitoring children's Internet usage) The Adsense ads popped up for xxx sites.

I emailed support, they sent me directions on how to block ads from an individual domain. So they were basically telling me the only way to stop them from appearing was to build a filter for every xxx site on the internet.

That was the last time I ever used Adsense.

Ah, but they don't really. Once Vomba is on your PC, it runs ads and allows people to pop on shopping carts, like Zango. This reduces the roi of many adwords campaigns and G loses money in the long run.

Adware isn't good for anyone except the adware company and the cheaters who pop. Legit marketers, consumers and merchants all get screwed - so do the legit ppc search engines.
