I found a New Article Site
Hi All. I do tons of aricle writing and article submission, and I have been using the same old sites for a long time. and just found a new one in doing a search on google. It appeared in the second page of the generic listings, which tells me they are doing something right. Also no signup or registration required, which I like, as I already get to many emails

    Its,

I want to load my article submitter with more new ones, does anyone else have any suggestions for good newer article submission sites.

    Looks like a misspelled url.

Here's what appears to be the correct address: (affiliate site)

    Hmm. Interesting.

    1. Odd assortment of categories for an article directory, but that's not necessarily a problem.

    2. High Google rank?? I'm surprised. I just spent 10 minutes or so looking around the site, and I'll be there aren't more than a couple of dozen articles there.

    3. I only found 4 authors as writers of all the articles on the site?

    4. All the articles I found on the site were posted on the same day. (Same time, I think? Didn't notice for sure.)

Of course, every article directory has to start somewhere. I wish you/them/whoever well.

Heck, maybe I'll write something and submit it there, why not.

One more thing: I just looked around the front page of your article site a couple of times, and I could NOT find a link to submit an article?

Did I miss something obvious -- which happens when I have one of those "senior moments"?

"It appeared in the second page of the generic listings"

What phrase did you search on in Google?

Writerguy don't waste your time, it's just another junk affiliate article site. Agloco, MLM ads right on the front page. PR0, supplemental hell and the the pages the articles are on are supplemental. The owner is obviously a newbie affiliate as they don't even know basic SEO.

But I am still curious as to what phrase you searched on to bring this site up in Google.

It's at the top, just above the adsense.

Ah, methinks belkin is being a bit less than, should we say "straightforward," with us?

A search shows that he is the owner of the article site in question. Nothing wrong with starting a promoting an article site -- but it's a bit off, in my thinking, to introduce that site in this forum with "...just found a new one [article site, that is]" -- when in fact he never FOUND the site, he STARTED the site.

(The same whosis search discloses that "belkin" is the "author" listed for a dozen or so of the articles there.)

Ah, well. Some (me, among them) would call such behavior "trickery" or even downright dishonest. Others, I suppose, call it marketing.

Do these type of sites ever send any traffic or are they just used for link building? I can't imagine this site generating any traffic when there are much better sites like Digg, Reddit, and even Netscape. A quick look at Alexa and Compete.com tells me that this site has no traffic to speak of, so I don't think it's worthy of the Midnight Cafe forum. In fact I think it's just spam in disguise.

I agree that introducing it as "I just found this site" is not exactly accurate. I feel so violated..... Oh well, the ecucation process continues.... I officially withdraw my original post... ho hum.
