Just a heads up for those that use Host Gator. They removed all catch-all emails from the accounts without telling us in advance. I just found out that fact when I went to check one of the domains control panel and saw that the catch-all was removed.
Had a chat with their support where they said that they will re-enable the feauture upon request. We'll see how that goes.
During the chat I asked why I was not informed to which I was told that it was posted on their public forum. The post there says that it will not affect accounts that use it, but in my case all my catch-alls were deleted and I need to have them re-create them.
It turns out that they expect their clients to regularly check the forum for service changes/updates rather then sending out an email to the client with that info.

I tried corrosponding once with Host Gator using their desk ticket system ... I placed their domain name in our whitelist in order to be sure we received their email sends and never received anything.
I went back to the desk and told them I had not received a response (had to create a new ticket because I could not confirm the first ticket authentification link sent) and it went through the same process again and I never heard from them ... despite the fact I had even included my telephone number in the second ticket submission.
Based on your post, I figure they must know their mail system has issues and why they use their forum for company announcements.

Don't get me wrong, for the price you pay for their reseller aco**** it is great - until you run into an issue. I manage multipple domains their for my clients. On average I have about 2 issues per year with them.
One time they were down for about 8 hours over a weekend and a client noticed. I told him that an alternative is to go with a dedicated host with a better host - hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars per month compared to what they pay now. When he heard the price he agreed that what he saves is worth the agrevation - but it is still annoying when it happens.

Whenever I want to talk to them I just use their chat window. Anything I ask them about is taken care immediately by the chat person.
I've never had any problems with them at all.

My question needed upper management interaction and why I gave them my phone number since email was definately out of the question. I've heard many people talk good things about them ... I'm definately not dissing them by any means.
