This is driving me nuts....I just finished going over our credit card statments. All was well except for a 2 charges that I did not recognize. After some digging I found that both of the ones I could not find were web hosts - they just have a different display name on the credit card bill. Why would they do this?
For those that need it for future reference below is the Web Host name and the name that appears on the card statment:
Enom - Appears on statment as "Domain Name Registrabellevue"
Webrez - Appears on statment as "General Pacific IN"

I'd say the likely explanation is that the legally registered company operates various divisions under different names. The Money Forums

Yeah - but that is why they have the display name on the card statments.
I wonder how many chargebacks this costs them - just people not recognizing the name and not taking the time to call them and wait for them to answer the phone.
