um, nothing? You've for a 7% CR for the banner, and 10% CR for the Product link.
    I'd be happy with that.

The only thing I can see wrong is that the banner is actually doing ok.

I guess "What's wrong" was the wrong phrase. What I see is that product links out-perform banners.

I'm wondering why I'm posting banners at my site. It seems to me that all I'm doing is "brand marketing" for the site, which benefits the site but not me. If their banner is seen at a lot of sites, then people will start recognizing them ... and perhaps, will eventually buy from them, but not necessarily through my links.

On the other hand, if I post product links, then people will click on it because it is something particular they are interested in purchasing.

Since I started my website, I've used the side bars on each page to post banners. Lately, I have been systematically removing those banners and replacing them with individual product links. I watch my sales, and if a particular product seems to be catching people's eye, I create a small ad for it and dispurse it on the side-bar throughout my site. Basically, I just put a picture of the item with its name and short description.

Seems to be working well so far. My total commissions for October were $575. It's only the 10th, and my commissions are at $440 so far this month. Of course, it could just be that people are shopping for Christmas and my theory is garbage.

I thought that was common knowledge.

I just recently created a 10 page mini site and I made a decision not to include any banners on it because I don't think they work very well (although it looks like your banners are not doing too bad). I did however include a 120 x 60 box because I've had a good track record with them.

I'm seriously considering never using 468 x 60 banners again.
