What was your scariest Launch moment.
Having my first website launch. A little nervouse. Everything seems to be going well so far. Should I be worried? What scared you the most about launching your own site?

The only thing to fear is not knowing that the ramp up of the program will actually take longer than you think.

Typical concerns / anticipation / unknown are based on the bottom line; "how" will it do? When a site first goes up, it's natural to have a mixed bag of feelings. The key is time, testing, tweaking, and time (patience). Good luck with your new venture!

The thought that Tracking could Be Affected. I must've tested that a zillion times to make sure it wasn't!

Thinking that after I built it, nobody would come. I had a site up and running for a while as a hobby. (A poker forum) I got decent traffic. Then a friend said "you could make money from that". I added a banner ad. Then some articles. Then another. Then signed up at a network.

It's been fun. When I realized my play time hobby was making money I started doing more of it. When I left my day j*b and started doing it full time I was happy as hell. I still am.

I had to diversify out of gaming and jump into retail, and had to start a second company to make sure the paths never crossed, but it's still fun. I learn stuff every day. I've had a few "learning experience launches" and probably will have more. I thought I had an original idea and developed it. I later found out the reason it was "original". It sucked and didn't work.

Bottom line is, don't worry. If the first one doesn't fly there's always plenty of other ideas and opportunities to pursue. Don't think of it as failure, think of it as discovery and have fun doing it.
