May 4th, 2007, 01:19 PM #1$1000s Worth of Hard To Find Marketing Research You Can Swipe for Free
I just received an email from the "BumMarketingMethod", any credit for this "gem" belongs to him.
See, last night I found a collection of some of the most powerful ads ever written....ever! These are ads that have sold millions of dollars of products....from 1910 to now. From weight loss to teeth whitening.
Now...I was even more excited because it was all free. I have seen marketers
bundle these ads and put them together as a "swipe file" and charge HUGE money for them...
Have you seen those for sale too?
Anyway...I was so excited and told Jeannie that the first thing I was doing this morning is telling you about this...
So...here she be:
I checked this site out and for those of you like me, challenged to write great ads, this is a gold mine! Particularly since the ads are categorized and targeted against specific niche topics. I've already scooped some for my own use - what a timesaver!
Hope this is valuable to you guys!

That was certainly my first thought. Didn't look too closely, but it looks legit. (If anyone sees anything otherwise, please .)

Yes it is definitely legitimate. I'm trying to build some credibility on this list by contributing what I believe to be valuable.

I spent some time combining the headlines from these ads that were written by the masters with the headline analyzer tool from thread Great Resources for Creating Headlines[I] (analyses headlines for Emotional Value Score) and guess what?
Scores consistently above 50%, some in the 70-100% range!
Try it, just cut and paste to see for yourself.

I don't know if there is an article analysis tool that can rate your article on a similar index but that would definitely be a great product.

Its a nice resource! This is an old thread but it is still very useful. I am sure a lot of people here will feel the same.
