Thanks Elisabeth,

Your presentation was excellent. Now, if only the networks and merchants develop some ethics and take heed of your warnings.

Ethics are usually obtained when you are being raised and you were taught to respect others, the law, and to work hard to make a living rather than taking advantage of and stealing from others.

Ethics - either have them or you don't. You don't develop them overnight so our fight will still be challenging.

Kudos again and welcome back.

Great presentation, I thought it was very good.
I would hate to think you are missing all this lovely cold and snow.

Bet that start-off presentation made some choke on the cookies -donuts and coffee. A summary line you said sticks with me now ...
"In this discussion what matters most is not how it's done, but the harm that's done."

Good job E. and I hope Shawn's presentation drove home some of your points. The moment one of these BHO affiliate applications kicks into gear from some trigger on anothers web page ...they become a parasite. They hope abourd the host and travel to the end destination to feed on the commission potential. In the process they're bitting a hole right through my wallet and into my A**.

Our interests were placed in the right person's lap in reading your presentation. A well thought out, planned presentaion that was designed to raise facts and move onward to make certain these problems ned to be rectified. While you may have been thrust into the situation by "being yappy in a few forums" as you stated, it is your words, actions, and common sense approach on these forums that have made you a valued ally to help rid us of the scumware that feeds off of our sites. Mentioning you were also from Canada may also help solidify the approach this is a world wide issue and not just a location specific issue just because most of these networks and programs are US based.
Well done.
