    Mayweather/De La Hoya Fight
Just ordered it for tonight. Anybody else going to watch it? Connie shouldn't watch. It's not going to be pretty. Oscar is going to get messed up, even tho I hope he wins. I just don't think he has much of a chance.

Neither guy will do face shots. They are too pretty. Oscar is going to win. His face will be fine and then he can retire.

3 more rounds till the main event. Oscar already has a cut above his left eye in anticipation of the beating that's coming, he's just starting early. I still hope he wins tho.

    Now don't tease me.

It should be a very close fight. I really do hope Oscar can pull it off. Then he can retire going out on top.

If the next 2 rounds go like the rest of the fight, Mayweather will win on points. This fight is kinda boring. They need to go back to the old days and have 15 rounders.

Agreed, where's the blood? And Larry Merchant is an idiot. Where does he come up with his stupid comments?

It's over. Mayweather about to win on points.

Whoa, one judge gave it to De La Hoya, the other 2 to the winner Mayweather. Mayweather landed twice as many shots and was twice as accurate.

Agree with you on Larry Merchant, he's always annoyed me. The questions, just so slow getting them out etc.

Not sure whether he or Mayweather Sr are more annoying to listen to. Show could have been over an hour ago if they could talk. And how about Roger and all that Whoop Ass talk. And Sr. thinks Oscar won? What do you think are the odds of a rematch?

    "And Sr. thinks Oscar won?"

Yeah, what fight was he watching. Oscar was more busy (punches thrown) but Floyd still landed twice as many shots. Maybe Sr. wants his job back in Oscar's corner for any upcoming fights.

Floyd said that was his last fight, Oscar (4 yrs older) seems like he still wants to do it. I figured it would be the other way around.

Personally I don't want to see a rematch. It was just boring to me. Maybe a couple of big shots in the whole match. Like you said, no blood, no one ever really in trouble or hurt.

I think Tyson needs to get his game together and get back and bite some ears off.

No, Mayweather won, 2-1, split decision. In the bank account, Oscar since it's Golden Boy Productions.

And there is going to be a rematch, this was just the setup for it.

This fight was boring. I am so sick of all the hype in boxing matches. After the boxing match I was watching the news which was saying that a judge could have gotten the score wrong. UFC/Pride and much more action these days IMO

Steve Nash looked like he was in that ring for a few minutes after the first game against San Antonio today.
