Street Sense, with 20-year veteran but first-time Deby winner Calvin Borel up, ran a fabulous race to come from 19th early and from 17th at the 3/4 pole, to win the Kentucky Derby going away. In typical "Bo-Rail" fashion, Street Sense hugged the rail for the first mile, then burned up the track for the last 1/4 mile.
Great race by a great horse and knowledgeable jockey.
Hope they can keep it up in the Preakness.
(had to get this in tonight with all the fight commentary going on)

Understand this, if he didn't have a ton of horse under him he couldn't make those moves, but the second place horse "Hard Spun" deserves a lot of credit also.
Watchout for Curlin, he wasn't sharp as he will be in 2 weeks.
The 50:1 Sedgefield ran well too.
Cowtown washed out before the race he couldn't relax.
