    Help with .csv
I'm trying to export a shop to .csv to use with Webmerge, however the price column is being populated by the description leaving the description column empty and in effect no pricing. Everything appears fine when I preview the shop.

Here's an example of the feed:

    http://shops.popshops.com/shops/4fd0...56d4e66477.csv

It also appears that none of my affiliate id's are present in the feed.

    Thanks

Quick question, kind of related to the original post.

The popshops generated URL, that will always be the up to date feed? Or do you have to generate new feeds each time you want one?

Hey Jessie, one more csv issue. I'm only getting the page that I create and none of the autofeed pages.

    Rematt,
The PopShops generated URL should be up-to-date, but since you've generated a static file, prices can change and that won't be reflected like our showcases will reflect them.

AutoFeed is not a part of the static feeds (XML, CSV, ATOM, etc), it's just a flat file.

Rematt, if you want to, please ping me and we can talk about how you could imagine using a PopShops generated CSV...we can brainstorm about features that you think would be helpful (like, autofeed, for instance)...

    Hiya,
Since I'm a newbie, I can't retrieve PMs. Can you email me instead? Or you could PM Angel...

    jessie @ popshops.com

    Thanks!

Jessie, have you considered tab-delimited rather than comma-delimited? It's about as widely supported in other apps, but is more efficient to both generate and parse since you don't need to worry about escaping in-data commas.

    Hey Richard,

We do have the ability to provide tab-delimited as well as pipe-delimited among our export options. We simply have not worked the process into our user interface and we want to be sure to test the process.

I guess that's a long winded way of saying it is in the works
