Are you using testimonials for the products you are promoting? And if so how do you get them when your traffic just passes through your site, is off to the merchant and you do not know whether they purchased or not?
Everyone says how important testimonials are, but it seems hard to get them as an affiliate.

We are in the process of collecting testimonials from both avertisers and affiliates and are going to put a rotating script on the front page to display our testimonials. IMO, I think they are great to have.
best of luck to you.

So you are the merchant?
Are you offering this rotator script to your affiliates as well?

No we are a network so it would work different. We are the middle person in many transactions. I was just chimming in that I think testmonials are a good thing.

From everything I've read, testimonials are great for convincing customers that what you are promoting is credible. People are skeptic, so providing testimonials from other customers helps convince them to buy.

Ask the merchant for testimonials, most will have a few they are willing to give out to affiliates!Jason Rosenbaum

Thanks MINDsprinter, I am actually a merchant, so I take it providing testimonials to my affiliates would be a good idea.
Eric's article just reinforces that, too. Thanks
