Quite a resemblance, indeed.
Unfortunately, this copying of design is more frequent than people realize. I also had design copied, plus banners stolen and displayed elsewhere. The banners are, in fact, stolen almost on a regular basis. They simply take off the domain name and put up theirs....
Truly annoying!

I emailed them that wasn't it ironic that they had a copyright notice on their blatantly copied site. Told them I also had a copyright notice.

I also let them know that any visitors they got that noticed the copying would not be happy and they were not doing themselves a service by turning off potential customers.

Not everything is an exact copy of my present site, I have done some revisions in the last month or so, but it is a copy of my site as it was 2 months ago.

For what it's worth Connie, I had someone who recently lifted 75% of the content from my drugstore page. 25% of the page was their own, but the other 3/4 was clearly mine. Thanks Anne for LMK

Wrote them an email, gave them an "out" (ie., perhaps you didn't know <cough cough> ), but I told them if it continued, I'd be contacting the affiliate manager of that program for removal and my lawyer for an immediate cease & decist.

The stealing's gone "poof" (at least for the time being). If you just let it sit though, they'll try & take it an extra step...

With my best,

Liz

Every week I find a new person who has copied one of my sites ... now i don't really care any more because most of the time I can see that they have no idea and are not going to be successful in getting traffic.
