OK Let's face it, my old one sucked.

That is the best picture I can get in the space allowed of me with my guitar that our CEO Hunter gave me.

It sounds like angels singing down from heaven, even when I play it!

The picture below of the 3 guitars are all three of my babies. The one on the right is a travel guitar that is small in size but huge on sound...

Plus a picture of me apparently mad at the picture taker playing something...it looks like "Champagne High" by Sister Hazel.

Matt, I like the one with a person, it's more personal. Maybe remove the background to impose ther 'personal' feel.

    Nice...

Tell me about that Irish theme in your cap! You got Irish roots, man? (I like Jameson every once in a while).

It is my first guitar that Paul bought me for Christmas a while back. It is a Yamaha that he adjusted. IT sounds great, but goes out of tune quickly.

For a $200 guitar it is pretty awesome though.

My next purchase is hopefully the 12 string Takamini tribute to Taylor that Hunter has and keeps telling me he is going to sell.

Moldova's nice, but it cannot compare to the Highlands and Ireland. Go where your roots are first, man. ...and on your route, set aside a day to visit me in St. Petersburg too.

    You got it.

From a tourist perspective, what is better...Moscow or St Petes?

    I am biased....

Honestly, you can easily do BOTH if you have as little as 2 days for it. There is an overnight train from Moscow to St. Pete (takes around 6-7 hours), or you can fly (takes about 40 mins, and there is a plane flying from one to the other every hour or so).

Look me up before you start planning, and we'll plan something.

I'm all for the less expsensive guitars! My Fender was only $150 has pretty good sound, but does go out of tune quickly.

You can imagine my horror when my grandfather had in his will to put up his Gibson acoustic at auction instead of having the family fight over it. One of his former band members paid $4,000 for it! I was sad to see it go, it had awesome sound.

I'm still a total novice. My grandfather could play guitar, banjo, mandolin and the bass. We always begged him to teach us but he said if we really want to play, just pick it up and figure it out just like he did.

A 12 string?! Wow, you're the man! I have enough trouble with 6!

South Park is now a memory... sad but true. Yep caught bunches last week at 11 mile canyon, but this is Matts moment in the sun - so in the interest of giving him a bully pulpit, I abstain. However, I DO wish he'd post a larger pic in his profile so others can see the man behind the legend...

My brother has my grandpa's vintage Fender, matching amplifier, and I believe the steel guitar is still in my parents' garage. I wish I could play more than Ode to Joy. LOL.

Those old Gibson acoustics are great! I've got my father's (a J-50), it is the most beautiful sounding guitar I've ever played. I'm sure it would fetch a bunch at auction, but I'm not selling! I've also got a Les Paul, a Kenny Hill classical, a fender, an Epiphone, and an Ibanez kicking around somewhere. Looks like I have a problem!
