Is today supposed to be a good day or a bad day for online sales? How are the rest of you doing?

I'm doing terrible and I'm wondering if I've been hit by the worst google update in history or if everyone else is slow too.

Traditionally I guess this would be the day everyone heads on over to Walmart and does their shopping so I hope that is the case.

Then again it wouldn't supprise me if google has decided not to rank any of my pages as they always like to do.

Very bad day. Wait until Monday. Things should start going then, until Christmas Eve.

Take a vacation from Christmas Eve until January 2. Don't check your stats at all then.

Not me, Berg is my married name. I am in Minnesota. But Go Packers! My husband hates when I say that, being he is a ViQueens Fan!

Anyone here from MN or Wisconsin?

Tiger is cranking, taking in record orders...

Yesterday's shipped orders were the highest in the month on the affiliate channel...

Those FPC's ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/email/aff...sp?ID=INSERTID ) crank !!

Traffic yesterday was down about 30%, but had a record high sales, which makes November the best month for the year so far. Sales came in only in the morning and early afternoon yesterday, the rest of the day was pretty dead.

Traffic today seems a bit slow, sales are average.

I try not to worry about slow traffic during this weekend, but to crank up new stuff in the hope that I can catch more Christmas sales.

Going strong here on all ends. I'd say the major shopping will start later today and tomorrow when people get back to their PC's.

Shoot - Andy, you saying Tiger shipped stuff yesterday?

So, like, if I'd sold anything that was shipped yesterday it would be showing up in my reports by now?

And so, like a $0 for yesterday would be bad then, instead of just a holiday thing like I thought ?

Apparently International Buy Nothing Day was started here in Vancouver about 8 years ago.
It seems that my visitors all belong to this movement based on my traffic and sales today.
So, I propose an international Buy Everything day.
If you have even thought about buying anything you do it this coming Monday and if possible you do it on my domain www.for-the-love-of-pete-will-you-people-please-buy-something-from-me.com
ahem ... that's a non affiliate link if anyone is wondering

Game on!!!!

Thanks - I had a good day before last, but you had me going there for a minute.

Not that I was worried or anything, oh no ...

[edited to add - PopDawg, I know what your problem is. I'm getting a 404 on your site ]

Connie,

I live in Wisconsin, but work in Minnesota.

Say the CBS article, there are a bunch of people from this board mentioned, and I hope they all reap the rewards of the free advertising.

It is an absolutely beautiful day here. Anyone sitting in front of a computer today is an idiot.

As for sales ... it does not appear to be shaping up as a best day of the year.

We finally had a break-out day for Amazon.com orders. Orders picked up a couple weeks ago, then dropped off, but yesterday was huge.

CJ and Linkshare merchants were totally dead though despite increased traffic.
