Granted, but why be so obvious about telling the world that there are 2 sets of rules. And frankly she doesn't deserve a break. Paris Hilton sets a terrible example for young women.

I think it was a given that she was going to get out early.

At least since she's on house arrest for 40 days, we won't be bombarded with daily images of her out partying like usual.

Even Martha Stewart did her time like an adult.

Yeah but what Martha did could have actually killed anybody.

All Paris did was practically attempted MANSLAUGHTER.

I can see why she would get 5 days in jail and 40 days house arrest and Martha would get 6 months of both.

    That makes sense.

Our judicial system (while the best in world) really makes no sense sometimes.

I doubt that she has learned a thing from it, I only hope that her next one doesn't result in an innocent family getting killed.

I think they should make the ankle bracelet so that it shocks her everytime she opens or mouth.

Maybe that will shut her up

NOOOOOO, she is always holding the little dog, I don't want it to get hurt when the current travels through her body.

Note to self: be Paris Hilton instead of John Q Citizen.

40 days house arrest in the Hilton Mansion? Oh, woe is she! I hope Versace delivers or they might have to relocate her again.

Who wants to bet me that the "unspecified illness" was withdrawal?

Wow, I feel so stupid now...

I missed this thread because I was reading a meaningless article and blogs about President Bush's closed door meeting with Putin today over nuclear missle placements and reading up on todays stock market adjustments. I feel as though I've misplaced my priorities!! LOL.

Paris: catch and release, Alan. Pure and simple...

And as for Putin, perhaps he misconstrued himself as a rogue state?

Looks like she might go back, the judge seems a bit unhappy with the sherrif's dept.

I think she needs to spend her days with Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Maricopa County, AZ.

She'd want to spend her original term in "jail".
