    Cashback setup using SID
Hey, I'm new to this forum

    Just a few questions...

How is best to structure a database so that I can give cashback to my customers. I have written the SID and logon script, all I need to know is how I can use the CJ reports in CVS (uploaded to MYSQL) and give them the relevant cashback. Is splitting with percentage the only way? So eBay give me $2 for a sign up, I want to give them $1, so when SID=username advertiser = eBay.com then commision ammount /2 = there ammount..

Is that the only way of doing it :S ??

A unique ID should for that particular customer in the SID. You can append another unique ID for the merchant, although you will see this in the reports.

mutasim, just a suggestion for the future. You should be more patient than posting a followup like this two hours after your original post during any time of the day, but during the early morning hours when most people who participate here are still sleeping is pretty unreasonable.

I hope I'm accurate in saying that most affiliates aren't too enamoured of cash back affiliates so questions like this may be intentionally ignored.

Also, if you have not checked into this already, you will need to disclose as an incentive/special program. eBay particpiates with some of these, but my understanding is that they are not letting new affiliates do this without a compelling reason.

not to mention the other merchants that will boot you on notice of providing a incentive within your program.

No offense taken. I promptly ignored it the first time I read it.
