    Wasting a Great Domain
Just thought I'd see if there was a website at www.theinternet.com. Yep, there is. Registered by someone in Minneapolis in 1994 and all that's there is a single Amazon.com skyscraper.

No doubt he's received lots of offers for his domain. Seems strange he hasn't better monetized it.

On that site, it says the site was a web development firm from 93-99. I guess after that he just left it as you see it now and doing other stuff. Checking it's been like that since late 2002.

Where do you see that? All I see is the Amazon banner.

INternet domains are some pretty hot properties, here are some of this years best sales, http://www.dnjournal.com/ytd-sales-charts.htm

If "theinternet dot com" went on sale, I bet he'd get a tad more than one hundred bucks. A good name, some history to it, I bet he/she has turned down some xx,xxx offers.
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

He might be able to fetch 6 figures looking at some of those sales numbers on the DNJ site....I guess I would be able to get 5 figures for one of my sites but then I would stop receiving my commission checks and I wouldn't like that..ching ching.
