I just created a page containing Amazon keyword links for UK and US.
After submitting the page the us link was displaying the 'Shop Now and Save!' link instead of the keyword-targeted link.
Refreshing changed it to the correct link.
Several refreshes later it again showed 'Shop Now and Save!".
Is it my fault for not reading the small print or is Amazon finding another way to screw us?

Sometimes here on shaw.ca hitting refreshes will end up reverting to old page even if it had shown the new one just prior. I sometimes go back and add a letter or word to know which version is actually being shown. This may tell you which version is actually being shown on your site. If you just updated the link only and no other changes to verify which version it is showing you may try this also.
If it is totally new maybe it is just the way their dynamic stuff works. Many times there keyword links end up showing generic amazon listings (shop for electronics, shop for books etc etc)instead of the actual products it is supposed to.
It was so cold last winter that I saw a lawyer with his hands in his own pockets.

My links are brand new.
If it's just the way their dynamic stuff works, then it's working like that because they've coded it to.
So far, the UK link doesn't do it, but about every 6th refresh, the US link shows their general banner.
Seems fishy to me.
