    I am trying to use a form button for users to click to go to a site but with SAS it doesnt work and cannot unsderstand why as it works with CJ and Paidonresults etc.

    Here is code i am using.

    Code:
    <FORMACTION="http://www.link to direct to">
    <INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT NAME="Visit" VALUE="Visit Site">

    The proper coding should look like this:

    Code:
    <form name="shareasale"  action="http://www.shareasale.com/m-formredirect.cfm" method=POST>
    <input type=hidden name=userID value="YOUR USERID">
    <input type=hidden name=merchantID value="THE MERCHANT ID">
    <input type=hidden name=afftrack value="AFFTRACK VALUE">
    </form>
    * replace the bolded portions with the applicable information.

    Hey, That's mighty handy. Thanks Haiko!

    Carolyn, can you combine this with the "create a custom link" function somehow to direct the user to a specific page within the merchant site?

    Something like:
    Code:
    <form name="shareasale"  action="http://www.shareasale.com/m-formredirect.cfm&http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?u=165969&b=83120&m=12880&afftrack=trackit&urllink=www%2EMERCHANT%2Ecom%2Flp%2FPAGENAME%2Ephp" method=POST>
    <input type=hidden name=userID value="YOUR USERID">
    <input type=hidden name=merchantID value="THE MERCHANT ID">
    <input type=hidden name=afftrack value="AFFTRACK VALUE">
    </form>

    </form>
    Or would this work like this? Does it need to go through the m-formredirect.cfm page?

    knight01,

    It will work if you seperate the values into the userid, merchant id and afftrack values, as part of the form as depicted, but I don't think that it will work the way you have it.

    Why not do something like this:

    Code:
    <input type=submit value='Visit' onClick="window.location.href='http://www.shareasale.com/u.cfm?d=1234&m=12345&u=12345';">
    I don't see why a full fledged form with a "post" action is really necessary.

    Yeah.... looks like everyone is talking about slightly different things.

    Creating a form link though, needs to be associated with a form creative or HTML creative on the merchant side.... if they don't have one you'll need to use one of the solutions such as Snib has above.

    It would be easier to answer the question though if you could tell me exactly what you are trying to do....
    Thanks,
