I'm experimenting with Ruby right now and ran across an article about Cake PHP. Has anyone used it? Would you recommend it?

I haven't used Cake PHP, but it looks quite nice. I watched the screencast for building a blog and it reminded me of Ruby on Rails.

I've worked with both the Zend and the Cake PHP Framework, and I prefer Cake. It was built to mimic RoR, and it has been around for quite some time, meaning it's pretty stable.
Like any change in programming techniques, it takes some getting used to (you have to just about forget the MySQL you know and learn their database functions), but once you get past the learning curve, it really speeds up your development.Chris Sturgill

I've also just started learning RoR to make programming easier. I'd never heard of Cake but at first glance it looks similar to RoR.
Anyway, I did a little more reading and found some flaws in Cake here:
And this from Cake themselves basically spells out why Cake was made and why they use it:
