    New ABW Feature?
I have just noticed that I get a red underline on misspelled words from a spell checker in the background as I type in here. Is this a new ABW feature or do I have something on my computer causing this? I have never noticed it before.

It is not working as I type this post for some reason, but it was present when I replied to two other posts.

That would be sweet. As it is, when I type a post using words that are more than two syllables, I have to go the the dictionary and copy / paste it. Weird thing though; after a couple cold beers I sometimes swear that ABW is running a spell check as I go... Maybe that's what's happening with you too Scoot.

Noth is right. See his name is underlined in red right now.

It's the new version of firefox, which ironically itself is underlined in red right now too...wow!

I love it. It makes me look smarter when I post here since I don't make too many typos.

IE users can use the free ieSpell plugin, but it doesn't check as you type. You have to remember to run it before posting.

I have FF version 2.0.0.4 on my Mac and the spell check is pretty cool. If (yeah, right) - I mean WHEN I have a misspelling and the red underline appears I just have to right-click (3rd party mouse) or control-click to get a pop-up w/ suggested corrections. Nice, 'cause I have not always been a great speller.

But I ken reed gud - bekoz huked on fonix werked 4 me.

I believe the feature is powered by Google and integrated into the FF2.x platform. In previous versions of FF, you could install this feature with a Google desktop extension. It's part of the same system that automatically brings up popular search results in your Google search bar.
