Normally, I receive that stupid 'My Husband, the Vice Admiral of the royal Nigerian Navy has passed and I need you to help me move $25 million, can I please have your bank account number' letter once or twice a day.

This is the first time I've ever received one claiming to be helping a Korean that is being persecuted in North Korea.....

The letter reads:
- - - - - - -
Good day,

And may peace of the Lord be with you.

Permit me to introduce myself. I am Rev. Howard Brooks, a
Missionary and Pastor in-charge of GOD FOR ALL NATIONS'
MISION, here in Kaesong, North Korea.

INFORMATION
Communism is evil. You may have been aware that the
communist Government of North Korea is persecuting the
Church of God, and all known pro-democracy activists who
oppose the evils of communism.

In the meantime one of the prominent and faithful members
of my congregation, who is a successful international
Contractor/activist, is being detained for months without
trial in the court. His sin was that he is a friend of the
West, especially America. The man, just like most people,
wants democracy in North Korea, and probably because he
also associates and does Contracts for U.S/SWISS
Governments, the Red Cross, Caritas and some other Western
multilateral agencies and NGO'S, is perceived by the
authoritarian socialist; one-man dictatorship in Pyongyang
as an enemy and a security risk.

Not only that, the government has also seized some of the
man's known personal properties, in North Korea and is
making effort to do the same abroad.

ASSISTANCE
In order to prevent the government from seizing all his
properties, the brother has in confidence request me, as
his pastor, to seek a reliable and experience business
person or company oversea who can assist me to look after/
secure some of the money he left behind. He has confided in
me the locations where some of those properties are and has
advised that we channel the money into business activities
such as, Import/Export of goods/services, trading, Real
property, Info Tech, and other investment opportunities as
may be possible, provided that such businesses are secured.

REQUEST
On that note, I am requesting for your hand to support me
to secure this man's hard earned Fortune before it is lost
to this evil corrupt government. If you can do this, please
e-mail me urgently and furnish your telephone and fax
numbers so that all the details can be communicated to you
immediately. Also, furnish details of your
Products/services, including terms of trade/payment or to
propose any business opportunities where we could take a
stake.
NOTE: Goods are to exported/ shipped to Eastern and Central
Europe.
On the other hand, you will be adequately compensated at
the end of the day.

Please consider your assistance as a service to God and
humanity, as that will not only save the brother from total
destruction but will also make reasonable impact in the
emancipation struggle of the poor and helpless people of
North Korea.

Yours truly,

Rev. Howard Brooks.

Ummm, yep they do. A church in my state fell for it. If not that particular one, a similiar one. It had the missionary twist to it and they turned over their account info. When I heard about it, I couldn't decide whether to feel really sorry for them or embarrassed.

Anyone stupid enough to want to give you a pile of their cash won't really care if you hit them over the head and just take it. If they're not within mugging distance wait for a better opportunity...unless your a parasite without boundries.

I have fun with these goons. I tell them I am eager and willing to help the "General's" wife (or whomever). I write back and give them a phone number of mine and make myself out to be a real dumb@55. When they call back, I put them on hold for as long as possible, then I act like I'm all eager to fly to Nigeria to meet with them. I usually ask them to fedex some "official" letterhead as "proof". I get them all pumped up by telling them that I would be more than happy to vector money to them as it would not be a problem because I "have" several huge bank accounts and it would not be out of the ordinary for myself to wire large sums of money to Africa as I do this anyway for "my coffee import business". I tell them I have problems writing and make them repeat themselves often as "I recently had a stroke" and this "makes things hard for me to understand". I tell them "I live alone with my Mexican caregiver who does not speak English." or something to that effect. I jerk them around to get them to waste as much money as possible on Courier services and phone calls. I hate these scumbags. After it gets to the point that they start getting flustered (this is usually after they sent someone to meet me at the Lagos Airport a couple of times and obviously I was a no-show), I snap out of presenting myself as a lame brain and let them know that they have been had.

The sad thing is that there are poor sods out there who fall for this garbage.
