July 3rd, 2007, 07:59 AM #1On Mornings Like This...
I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do to earn a living - and have a home in Baltimore and at the beach.
Loxly's thread from Sunday, with the great sunset pictures from her balcony, inspired me to get up early today to watch the sun rise over the Atlantic.
The first image was taken in the dawn a few minutes before actual sunrise. The second picture was just after the sun cleared the horizon. (The pictures are as they came from the camera, cropped slightly and resized, but otherwise "unprocessed.")
So that's our "front yard" in the morning - from 12 stories up. Because I had the camera and the computer going at daybreak today, I even shared the pictures and my thoughts with visitors to my beach site. (HERE )

Your pictures are beautiful!
Your site brings back so many of my childhood memories. I can't wait to watch my kids enjoy the same things I did in Ocean City - the boardwalk, Dough Roller's restaurant, Thrasher's fries...Kim Salvino, Client Services Director, Performance Horizon Group

Awesome!!!!!!! And I expect to see these in your Imagekind gallery for affiliates to link to SOON
Those are great. Wow, me the used-to-be-didnt-get-up-before-noon person inspiring someone to get up before dawn... times have changed. And yeah, I watch the sunrise frequently these days too. But sunsets are better from my patio than the sunrises....Deborah Carney

I, too, will share some sunsets one day. Our condo has a Florida room at the back, where we can sit and watch the sunsets. Ocean City is a "barrier island" with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and a large bay to the west; and we are high enough to see across the entire bay.

Two women's with a different show and tell!
While Loxly has show me her rear,
you have just have show me your front,
So now I now I don't know my dear,
what to look for, or what should I don't!
Btw, while Loxly might have a picture of my mothership on her photo, I would like to admit that your pictures have a better resolution than her's, and if I had to chose between diying in the desert wating for that space-ship to come and get me, and wating for nothing more on that Baltimore sunset with you, I rather die on that 2nd sunrise-c.jpg than be here posting now!
Btw, btw, in case you're married, this was just a joke, I don't want your jealous husband looking for me, but if you're a widow..... "I am not affraid of no ghost!"

But your catchy verse has something wrong.

To let you know, good Mr. Sal,
My name is Bill - I'm not a gal.
Not to worry, nor to wonder why...
The sun, on its climb high into the sky,
Gives absolutely no clue that I'm a guy.
'Nuff poetry for now. Gotta go pack - we leave for Miami tomorrow morning. Hope to see y'all at Affiliate Summit (our first one).
Happy Birthday America!

What have I done?
Wait a minute...........
Ok good, it was just a bad dream!
I hope she let me go back to her patio , after I almost tried to cheat on her last night.
