    Nintendo Wi workout
I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to play the new Wi game system by Nintendo? My 8 year old son got one for his birthday and we have been having a blast with it for about 2 weeks. This thing should be marketed as an excercise machine.

BTW I am now a virtual professional bowler. Don't laugh, for an old guy, thats about as athetic as I can get.

You too... I could play that game for hours. You should try Tiger Woods golf... very realistic.

Nintendo really did a good job with the Wii. Even my mother plays it regularly, and she hadn't played video games, since the late 1980's. (Too many buttons, lol)

I'm still trying to figure out "Cow racing". As it turns out, cows are hard to steer (no pun intended)

I love my Wii. Been playing Resident Evil 4 lately, ton of fun! The Virtual Console games are a blast and I really enjoy watching online video via Opera.

My husband and son love their Wii!

I checked our local Game Stop for Resident Evil 4, but they were out. I've read mixed reviews on it, too. Not that I would let my 7 year old play, but feedback says it's lame in scare factor. I know it would be right up the hubby's alley, but I don't want to fork over the money if it isn't worth it.

Snib, would you be willing to give me a review? I would appreciate it.

It's definitely the best of the entire Resident Evil series. Lots of zombie blasting action. The controls are a lot of fun, but there are a couple shortcomings for those who are hard core 1st person/3rd person gamers. You can't strafe and you can't shoot while running. It's still the same game it was when it was released in 2005 except it's got the remote now and it's a ton of fun. I'd say the scare factor is up there if you play alone in a dark room

Thanks so much! I now have a feeling I know what the hubby will be doing while I'm at Summit.

My kids are bugging me to get a Wii, now that they have heard that Lightsaber duels will soon be available for it. So now I am shopping around.

Most of the games that we play are the Wii Sports variety. My eight year old is almost a professional boxer. Its hilarious to watch him go at it for three rounds and be so excited to have KOed a virtual girl....LOL
