The Wildcats, Jaclyn, and Pediatric Brain Tumor Awareness needs your ESPY vote
    My Fellow ABW-ers,
Below is a letter from Denis, my friend and neighbor.

If the Northwestern University Wildcats win this ESPY it would be a wonderful recognition for them and a great boost to Jaclyn who receives tremendous support and strength from this team. If you could place your vote (by Saturday, awards are this Sunday) and also pass this message on to your friends I'd be most grateful.

    Thanks!
    ~Bob
    Dear Friends,
The Northwestern Women's Lacrosse team has been nominated for an ESPY award.
The past three years the Wildcats have supported Pediatric Brain Tumor Awareness and have made Jaclyn Murphy, a little girl battling a malignant brain tumor, an honorary member of their team. Aside, from being a 3 time National Champions, the Wildcats have demonstrated a social awareness that parents, Northwestern University and the Pediatric Brain Tumor community are proud of.

    They need your VOTE!!

Please pass this on to anyone of your family and friends to have them vote. Thank you for continued prayers and supporting the Northwestern women's lacrosse team who know that sports are not bigger than life!

    Fondly,
    Denis Murphy ~ Jaclyn's Dad

Ahhh crap! Sorry guys. I didn't realize that voting had closed already. Rats. (big sigh of disappointment)

Maybe a Mod can delete this thread.

Sorry, Rainmaker, Northwestern Women's Lacrosse deserves as much credit and support as possible for what they have been doing.

The awards were actually held last night, to be broadcast on Sunday.

The thread should remain so ABWers will see this information, but maybe change the title.
