    Yes. This is Bragging
Since I got screwed by workload and couldn't get to the Summit, I splurged and bought a new monitor with my airfare.

22" diagonal, with 1680x1050 native resolution.

That means I can have 2 browsers open, side by side, with ABW and Penthou... err... Shareasale open, full width, at the same time.

My wife is wicked jealous, although surfing ABW and SAS is a lot cheaper than surfing Red Envelope and L.L. Bean simultaneously.

It's an Acer, btw, so not top of the line, but still very, very, nice.

I've got two of those (the Lenovo version) on my desk.

But... I actually don't like the setup all that much. I'd rather have them rotated 90 degrees so each is 1050x1680...or at least one of them rotated that way. I might upgrade again later this year if I see a good deal on something that fits the bill.

A new monitor is always pimp worthy on a forum.

But I need to tell you guys something.
As a web designer/game designer/3d content guy, I finally broke down about 2 months ago and purchased 2 Dell 19" Ultra Sharps. Now I'm not jackin' Noth's thread because here is the good part that all of you need to know.
I got them off of one of those bulk sellers on Ebay. FACTORY SEALED graphic design level monitors for $240 EACH INCLUDING SHIPPING.
That is the way to go my friends. Watch those Ebay bulk sellers.

    Back to you Noth

We missed you but enjoy the new visuals, Noth. Next time, come to Summit anyway. ;-)

Good idea. I have been thinking of doing the dual thing. I guess if you get a jumbo one like that you can fit it all on one.
    Enjoy Kev!

I have dual monitors at my day j*b. I can't tell you how disappointed I am when I come home and have such limited viewing space. My next upgrade will definitely be dual monitors...

All the work is worth it. I work hard now so I won't HAVE to later... I might still want to, but I won't have to.

I setup a bunch of those as well as dual monitor setups for my 9-5. We are going paperless and we can software open on onside and .pdf docs on the other. Very nice monitors!

Ooh, nice monitor. In lieu of AS hubby got a new Mac and I got new carpeting for my office.

He's been home on vacation for two weeks and we did lots of yard work (mulch, pruning, digging up derelict flower beds, etc.) and he painted my office and the living room, too. One of these days this workaholic and her husband are going to get the hang of "vacation" but in the meantime at least the house looks mah-velous!

Size isn't the only thing that matters. Most (maybe all?) of the 22" LCD's use cheaper/lower quality panels than some of the 20" versions on the market. That's why Dell's 22" monitor is considerably cheaper than their nicer 20" models.
