    Amazon Tracking ID's For Different Sites (Update)
    Hi, folks,

    I don't have an amazon account yet. Just want to know this information before I sign up.

    I am pretty sure you can put it on as many of your websites as you feel th eneed to.

    Yep and you can request different tracking ids if you want to track what site the sale came from.

    If not, then I'm probably in trouble. I've been doing it for years.

    However, you can get them to assign you a subID for each site and that way you can tell where the traffic is coming from. If I remember correctly, you have to email them and ask them to set up the subIDs, since it isn't something you can do yourself. Of course, they may have changed all that by now.

    Just an update on this. Last time I had to do exactly that. Had a new site I was going to use Amazon on and wanted it's own tracking id so had to email them for one. Now you can make your own.

    After you login find Tracking ID then click manage. There's a little search box you can type in the ID you want and if it's available, it's yours.
