If wrong ads are showing, you can stop them this way
Hi, go to Account, then click on the tab that says Competitive Ad Filter.
Put the URLs of the ads you do NOT want to see on your site. After a few hours, they will disappear.

REMEMBER, DO NOT CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADSENSE ADS. You can SEE the url of the ads. NEVER CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADSENSE ADS, YOU WILL GET BANNED.
This should help you to get more ads of the type you want.

You can not always see the URL. There are some offensive banner ads showing up on my site that I would like to ban but cannot tell what the URL is. Right clicking for "Properties" only gives me a code that is too long, runs off the box at max width and it is not an URL. It is a flashy "Download Ringtones" ad with no domain name showing.

Do you think site targeting would help? (If that option still exists) In the last few months, advertisers have been creating ads where you can not determine the URL.
