Connie of Flamingoworld has had one bad month.

At the beginning of December, she thought she had gall bladder stones & was forced to miss a concert she'd been waiting all year for. Right around the time Net shopping season slowed down, she went to the hospital on the 23rd only to find out <actually> her appendix had burst on the 9th Funny what this business does to us

She's remained in the hospital during Xmas and was wheeled into evasive surgery today (but that's a good thing).

Please say prayers for Connie's speedy recovery. If you'd like info on where to send flowers, cards, etc... please feel free to PM me. It looks as though they're not letting her anywhere near her email and her hubby Dave is manning the FlamingoWorld fort with flying colors

    With my best,

    Liz

Liz, thanks for letting us know. A ruptured appendix is very serious as you can become septic quite quickly. She's lucky, considering the length of time between the rupture and the surgery. Connie must have one heck of an immune system. It's nice that husband has been working with her on the site, so at least she won't be worrying about that while she recuparates.

She will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers.

She's a fine person and obviously a real pain warrior. Sure wish her a speedy recovery and quick lowering of her white cell count.

Thanks for letting everyone know Liz! I was writing her on the 23rd and she said she had been ill.

So many times we can lose sight of being ill when we are so busy! Heck, how many of us even go to the BATHROOM when we need to , much less the DR!

Big hugs to you Connie! We are all praying for you girl! You will be home in a jiffy!
