Scam artists are targeting domain owners with deceptive renewal notices. These are usually done by some small 'registrars" data mining the whois database and sending out phoney renewal notices disguised as bills in e-mails and Post Office letters. See below for alerts...

I like to put "Return to Sender" on junk mail. Then I throw it back in the system. If you can put Return to Sender on letters, why not junk mail?

I used to do that w/ a lot of junk mail until I realized that most places put "or current resident" or something to that effect, so you'll just end up getting it back w/ that circled. But...I could probably do that w/ the junk registrar mail...

Check to see if they've included a return envelope in the mailing.

If so, put all their crap into the return envelope. Add something like food with hairs stuck in it, and mail it to them.

I've been doing a lot of that lately...minus the food
Is it possible to change the addresses & use the postage paid envelopes to send whatever to whomever you want?

Nope. It would also cause problems for the USPS, if they would deliver it to the other address. They will most likely not get paid.
The USPS fees for standard letters would be raised, if too much people try it, cause of the additional work for them to filter them out.
Return the junk to the sender. That's probably the best thing to do.
