    Ugghh - Adsense
I know that I may offend many of you who currently use Adsense on your web sites, but I have to ask, am I the only affiliate that is growing very tired of coming across web sites that have no real content and are full of nothing but adsense advertising?

Just incase of any offense, I am putting on my blind fold and waiting for the firing squad....lol. Well anyway, thought I would ask.

Ready...Aim...Wait...Wait..No Cleo (hope you don't mind if I call you Cleo) I'm not offended, however I haven't used Adsense on any of my sites for over a year once I realized that I was creating my own leaks and could make more with affiliate links.

I really don't get upset about sites that are all Adsense (unless it's a merchant that I'm promoting) because it's possible that one of those ads is mine and I'll make a lot more on a sell than they will on a click.

It's true that these sites don't really add any value but I can't believe that they're making a lot of money either. The search engines don't really seem to like them either.

Well Google now has google referral which is PPA or affilaite type links. Easy to set up and some people might like how it is quicker than getting approved with an affiliate program.

Payouts seem pretty good to me.

But ya I am always amazed when people have 3 google ads on each page and nothing else.

Why not make a percentage or just straight send them to another site of yours or a friends site?

One could say the same thing with affiliate websites. There are truly some awful ones that out there that are just directories of the programs available and worse.

I have to say, you all have given me a different way to look at it, and whatever works for each I give a big thumbs up.

Those merchants using Google PPA Ad pushing banners, Text and longer description text links should have a good conversion ratio. Landing pages are all important and the image Ads get better CTR then text Ads. Problem is few Google PPA merchants have any variety of banner Ads and give no thought to landing pages. They have idiots doing a quick port over to PPA for some text Ads and no thought to landing pages.
