azoogle ads landing pages.... going to wrong page.
I just put up my first azoogle ad (for Blockbuster DVD rental).

But when I clicked the ad on my site to test it it went to a "smilie" site :-(

    Can anyone offer an explanation?

    Thanks,

    Darren.

Most CPA networks Geotarget, and if you're clicking from a location where an offer isn't valid it will go to a different offer. People in valid locations should go to the right site.

    1) more than likely... the advertiser pulled out or something along that line. Azoogle pulled that page and replaced it with a smiley.

    2) Azoogle point to wrong page

    3) you pulled wrong code. unlikely but possible

Mods might want to move it from:
ABW > Forum > Commission Junction > Commission Junction Affiliate forum

    to Other networks

As Michael suggested, the Blockbuster offer is only valid in the U.S. If you are clicking on it from a different country, you'll get a smilie or some other substitute page.

Actually similar thing happened on one of our sites.

Be weary, azoogle dropped that exact blockbuster program and changed the links to random one for us. It was for the 2 page 26.50 blockbuster free trial.

Not sure when it dropped since they never sent out an email.

    Not cool azoogle.

Well thanks for all your feedback guys.

Yes as werty said beware azoogle!!!

At first I believed it was because I am not in the USA. I also had a friend in Canada check it and it went to a dating company, so I said fine that's what it should do.

Then I had a friend in Los Angeles USA check it and it went to a company called Contental Warranty. So it does not work in the USA either.

I gave this damned thing a 4 day trial and it cost me lost adsense income. So my first trial of azoogle has cost me money. Not impressed with azoogle at all.

I wonder how many of their other ad schemes are similarly not working? For people outside the USA it is hard to know, and they may be running dud ad campaigns!

I have very few CPA Network links on my sites, and I went through and checked most of them the other day. Most of the campaigns I was promoting had ended (without notice) and were going to other pages. It gets ridiculous. I'm not promoting any more campaigns through CPA networks no matter how good the payout is.
