    Webmerge and self hosted Wordpress?
Is anyone doing this? I want to integrate WM with Wordpress having the index.php a blog with links to categories in a navigation.

Is this planned in the future versions of WM?

I also want the product pages to have blog type functionality like related "posts",automatic sitemaps, and comment forms.

I also want the plugins to work on the blog portion and the WM created pages.

ANd yes I know about the Wordpress plugin that does this but I know WM and am cheap so I dont want to buy/learn new tools.

I haven't used WordPress myself so it's hard to say how well WebMerge can be integrated with it. Can I trouble you to tell me a bit more about this proposed workflow? What is it you'd like WebMerge to contribute to your WordPress-driven site?

With little detail on the proposed workflow I'm reading between the lines here, but I'm wondering if perhaps the best solution might be to have WebMerge as a sort of middleware between MySQL and Wordpress, augmenting or even in some cases replacing the need to learn PHP.

Am I on the right track? How would you ideally like WebMerge to contribute to your workflow?

New members are not allowed a signature. And they are especially not allowed to drop a link in their posts.

You should remove it before a mod does it for you.

Karl, you do have the right to post helpful comments here, and I look hope you do. But the policy of ABW is that newcomers aren't allowed to put links in their signatures. This will change after a certain number of posts -- see the TOS for details.

So in accordance with the policy, as the admin for this forum I'm obliged to remove the link in your sigline, which I did. But I left your post intact, and look forward to more from you.

Edited out all the link drops. Karl, this is a ban warning if you drop another link. You can be helpful of course, but you are too new to have signature or linking rights.
