    Thumbs up 6500+ people online
It's been a while since I have paid close attention to how many people are at ABW on any given moment, but now I see a 6500+ figure in that "Online" stats. I know, a good part of it (half?) are robots, but hey, not too long ago this number was in the vicinity of 2500-3000.

    Congratulations, Haiko!!

The jump in visitors is too sudden, I would suggest something else is going on.... plus I noticed I had a devil of a time reaching ABW last night, something that rarely happens.

I have recently noticed these pages coming fairly high in search engines (Google). And only a few days old. Maybe the site is getting more Google love.

    = more visitors

You would think a site this size with more or less relevant content to a lot of specific topics would rank highly in Google. And sure enough it does show up a lot. Of course most of us search for terms relevant to the industry. Shouldn't be surprised when this forum ranks for those.

Someone told me that the software has a setting to show how many visitors are online in specified time window.

So you can set it to 0 then as soon as someone logs off it will change the number online.

You can also set it 60 or 90 minutes or 3 hours to inflate the number online.

Iím not saying thatís the case here, nor do I care that much.
