    I use the code below for buttons to navigate to other pages:

    <BUTTON STYLE="background-color: #FFFF00;" onClick="window.location='index.html'"><font color="#000000"
    size="3"><strong>Home</font></strong></BUTTON>

    How would I change the code to have a user navigate to somewhere else on the SAME HTML page? What code would be used for the target being navigated to?

    Thanks!

    Bill B.

    This may work

    <BUTTON STYLE="background-color: #FFFF00;" onClick="window.location='index.html#widget'"><font color="#000000"
    size="3"><strong>Home</font></strong></BUTTON>

    Then add some tags to the area you are looking for, such as:

    <a name="widget"> Lots of widget content</a>

    Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.

    It's best not to use <BUTTON> because netscape can't see it.

    <TABLE>
    <TR>
    <TD>
    <FORM ACTION="page1.html" NAME="PAGE1">
    <INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE="Page 1">
    </FORM>
    </TD>
    <TD>
    <FORM ACTION="page2.html" NAME="PAGE2">
    <INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE="Page 2">
    </FORM>
    </TD>
    <TD>
    <FORM ACTION="page3.html" NAME="PAGE3">
    <INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE="Page 3">
    </FORM>
    </TD>
    </TR>
    </TABLE>

    Make sure you link to those pages with HREF tags if you want search engines to crawl them.
