I have contacted many of my merchants over the months, maybe 2 or 3 have responed. Is that your experience too?

One merchant, Fansedge, reversed all of their transactions this month so far! I've sent them 2 emails this morning. 2 reversals were for "returned merchandise". Funny thing is the orders were less than a week old. Thats pretty fast for someone to recieve their order, not be happy with it, and then return it. Do you think they will respond to my emails?

I have merchants who always answer their email, merchants who occasionally answer their email, and I've discontinued marketing plenty of merchants who just never answer their emails.

Let's put it this way: it says a lot about a merchant whether they answer their emails or not.

I think that it is very important for merchants to have a full-time person devoted to the Affiliate Partners.

As the Affiliate Marketing Manager for GiveAnything.com I get back to my partners inquiries and concerns right away.

It does have to work both ways though. I appreciate names and email addresses, not to mention a correct phone number, so that I may contact my partners too.

If you have trouble with your merchants, I would try to remind them that it is a "partnership".
IF you can get them on the phone! I certainly don't want this to be the way that Affiliate Partners view my program, or Affiliate Marketing as a whole.
