    Weird lunch
I just had the strangest lunch. It was delish, but odd.

I ate a half-sour garlic pickle, some papadums and a Heineken. So I"m sitting here thinking I must be nuts and it occurs to me that the rest of you probably eat strange food at your desk, too.

So what was on the menu for lunch at your house today?

It just occurred to me how strange it is that I had both coffee and diet coke for breakfast, simultaneously. It's like the diet coke was an entree. Stop making me look at my quirks!! So I'm odd, whatever!!!

I love papadums but ooh-boy are they HOT. I have to drink a bottle of water afterward to keep my mouth from catching fire. I think you'd like them, Trust.

I will give them a try. I've come to the realization I don't have much variety in what I eat and next time I go to the grocery store, I will be adventurous.

It's a meal in itself Sometimes I throw something on the George Foreman to give it some company.

Eating a late dinner ... nut bread, cheese and tinned sausages washed down with beer.

I'm really not sure it all goes together but I was hungry

Trying to decide now what to have for lunch... Peach Snapple Tea is my replacement for Mountain Dew, was a heavy dew drinker for many years

CT, pepsi and coffee are perfect compliments to each other, nothing strange about that

Toaster Strudels and Diet Mt. Dew for lunch.(yeah, I get the hypocrisy of it.)

I fixed a big pot of chili for dinner last night, so dinner is covered tonight as well.

Hmmmm. Today was Toad in a Hole with a Coke for dessert. My first Coke for today, in fact, which is quite an accomplishment!

Ya wanna know what hypocrisy is? It's me going to Starbucks and ordering a soy latte -- with whipped cream on top! I love whipped cream and I like soy a lot, too but you can't make whipped cream out of it. Believe me, I've tried (and tried, and tried).

Well at least I'm having a sensible dinner tonight. Chicken's in the oven roasting away in a lovely bath of garlic and orange juice. Yummo!

I assume that all of you have health food web sites.

I do actually own a food and cooking web site. Good food is very important to me and I enjoy cooking, too.

You might be shocked to hear this but I don't eat any food with artificial ingredients. I also avoid foods with high fructose corn syrup and other corn additives (I'm not a hog and and I don't need fattening for market). I also don't use beauty products with dyes or preservatives or any other junk. I'm picky about what goes into me and what goes onto me.

So, as I like to say, "All my junk food comes from the health food store!" That's where I bought the pickles *and* the papadums. Both are all-natural. The beer came from the supermarket.
