Macy's Is Really on the Ball!
About 10 minutes ago, I received a weekly promotional email from Macy's. There are 2 main promotions included in this email.

    Promotion 1 - Good from Aug 17 - Aug 18
    Promotion 2 - Good from Aug 19 - Aug 20

Hello? Is everyone sleeping at Macy's? Today is Aug 20th.

Maybe they sent this email out on Aug 16th and it has been shooting around some distant email galaxy for 4 days and just arrived today?

Didn't I see that Macy's started offering furniture for sale, only by phoning in?

I dropped Macy's. First couple sales we had were for their bridal shop. They never said if someone clicked on their bridal shop on their main website the customer is taken off site to a different Macy's bridal website that does not pay commissions.

The email was sent through Linkshare's internal email system both to your email address and to your internal Linkshare email. I suspect that the late notice was caused by Linkshare because if you look at your internal Linkshare email, it was sent Fri, 17 Aug 2007 22:16:09 GMT. That's still too late but at least not after the promotion ended.

As to the email that came to my email address, I received mine 12 hours before you did so Linkshare clearly has a problem here.

If Macy's had to pay Linkshare for this, they should get a refund.

    Macy's T&C says:
No commissions will be paid on the purchase of bridal registry, gift certificates, adjustments, reorders and corporate gift cards from our site.

I guess Macy's needs to better clarify qualified sales.

4-5% commission on qualified sales (excluding electronic gift cards)
