Anyone has this idea? When I run report in clickbank, I found the 'hop's label, which indicates how many hops.
What is this hop number mean? Is this the same as clicks on PPC, or the person who viewed the sales pitch through an affiliate link and then pressed the button to clickbank transaction interface?

The hop is a successful visitor that has been cookied by either you or by your merchant once they get from your marketing material to their page.
* Not the same as adwords unless you are direct linking to your CB aff link.
* You can pre-set the cookie on your own landers so people don't see your aff link.
* When you get to the clickbank transaction page, the cookie has already been set, when you scroll down to the bottom of the payment page you will see 'affiliate=yourname'
* The last cookie served will get the sale (if others are promoting this, and they go through your hoplink, then someone elses, the last person overlaps the previous cookies, this works both for you and against you).
Hope that helps,
