Exclamation MSN Content Live Today - Need to Opt Out AGAIN
MSN Content is live today and if you were in their beta and previously opted out, you need to do it all over again!

Yes, you have to go back to each ad group and un-check each content box again, as when it went live, all ads were activated for content!

Here is how to do it from a prior thread (thanks, Meadowmufn)

Note, if you were not in their beta group, then you were automatically put into content today as well, and unless you want to stay there, you need to go through this as well.

    Razza frazza...

(off to go turn off content ads before they run up huge charges on me...)

    Thanks for the heads up.

I'll be watching it closely, haven't opted out yet and haven't seen any traffic yet either as far as I can tell. Normally I don't like content sites the ads wind up on but there are some in Google where it's works out great. I'll be looking around for other threads and blogs to see what's happening.

    MSN Content Network
I have to agree with Trust, it's a wait and see approach with MSN. So far I've been very impressed with the quality of traffic on MSN adcenter compared to the other engines. It's way less competitive, clicks are cheaper and convert better, just the volume blows.

But if MSN Content is anything like Google's content network, I'll be opting out real fast. I'll post here once I have more intelligence.

I don't know. I tried content with some ad groups in beta for awhile and it was pretty much a waste of money.

I'm not seeing any traffic from the content network so far.

I opted out a few days ago. I just checked my ad group settings, the content box remained un-checked. Seems like the opt out function works.

Were you in the beta group?

    Yes, I am. I think.

But I didn't get the opt-out link in the email they sent to me. Just to make sure, I emailed MSN and asked if this beta thing will leave my account setting as it is. They emailed me a link for me to fill out the opt-out request.

So far, my account setting stays the same as it was.

I'm probably missing it but is there a way to see how much you spent just from the content network?
