    LS Mod - When Will Reports Start Working?
    Running the regular reports:

    Sales and Activity Report 8/1/2007 - 9/2/2007

    Getting nothing.

    I get all zeros for Sales and Activity Report, but Product Success and Net Order Reports are working ok

    The Stats are back up at LS.
    Tho They aren't close to what my server stats are.

    Yup - I see all zeros on the Sales and Activity Report, too. I came here this morning to see if others were having the same problem.

    This seems to happen every month to me. If you run the estimated earnings report it is usually up and running.

    Aunt Lily, Thanks for the tip. the estimated earnings report works but the sales report is still down. This is the first month in which I notice the sales report to be down.

    Deleting Old Data
    The interface says that LS just introduced a new program that will start deleting data that is two years old each month. Here is the release:

    "Beginning September 1, 2007 all data prior to August 31, 2005 will ONLY be available in SynergyAnalytics and not in the Interface Reporting System."
    Perhaps the person who wrote the program wasn't all that keen on how to do date calculations.

    Of course, this brings up the next interesting question. Just how good are they at deleting old information. Do they delete it so well that it truly gone forever, or is it recoverable?

    Yeah, looks like somebody screwed up somewhere. I can get September reports but not August or before. These are the normal Sales and Activity Reports that I usually run.

    Still screwy.
    With one channel I can get September but on another channel, can't even get that, just zeros. And can't get anything before this month.

    I still get zeroes for August. I hope that this screw up in sales reporting will not affect payment in the future.

    We are aware that there is a problem with the Sales and Activity Report in the Interface Reporting System. We are working to resolve this issue. If you need to run a Sales and Activity Report, please use SynergyAnalytics.

    To view monthly sales data, simply click on any month on the Network Transaction Historical Trend Analysis (the box in the lower right corner of the main SynergyAnalytics page). The merchants listed in this report are hyperlinked so you can see daily transaction data including impressions, clicks, sales, orders, and commissions.

    uh-oh. If these reports are working, I'm having a terrible month. Lots of impressions and clicks, but no sales. Same with synergy analytics.

    But are any of these to be trusted?

    SA shows twice as much in commish as the old reports. I don't think you can trust any of them at this point until they fix it, or attempt to.

    Is that also what your Product Success Report shows? Mine are working, although my sales are also low.

    I do now see sales. Not as many as I hoped for but I do see a respectable number of sales. Maybe merchants have not been reporting sales regularly during the weekend etc.

    A reason you might not be seeing many sales is that your merchants may not have sent their data from the weekend. Sometimes there is a delay when a merchant reports the data to LinkShare. I will check with our tech team to see if there is a delay in processing the data since Monday was a holiday.

    Aunt Lily,
    You can run a Sales and Activity report in SynergyAnalytics from the Traditional Reports menu. Enter your date range and then follow the prompts. If you don't want to enter a specific criteria click on "Skip Prompt".

    Yep, not working again. At least the Sales and Activity Report reports

    And don't say Synergy, I tried Traditional and it's prompt after prompt

    Date Range
    Select a Network
    Partner Name / Begins With
    Creative Type

    etc.
