Don't be so quick to unlock your iPhone
Make sure you know what you're doing.

Did Dell have a hand in the iPhone?

    unlock the software or firmware.

If it involves hammering your phone or PDA with a mallet, I would not suggest it.

Such is the risk taken by a tinkerer

Makes me glad that modding video games only involves software!
(Likes tinkering with stuff too, and have had a few "nonoptimal results" of my own--less spectacular, though!)

Yeah I got tinkered alright lol was trying to fix something and burnt the board...but at least it didn't blow my hand off.

Some of the capacitors can hold a pretty good punch even with the battery out in the case of my camera it is around 110 volts...I wonder what the phone can hold???

I have a nice little Canon SD450 that I made into a lovely paperweight trying to pry out an sd card & eventually taking it apart and now nothing works.

One day I will Mcgyver something together with all the parts I have (3 cameras in the parts box)...I wonder if any of the parts of the Iphone are still good...maybe I can make a digital camera that will call me when the lighting is right ;-)

Jeez...I'm too much of a peasant to open up such an expensive item.
