    Well I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

What are you LS merchants going to do in response to this latest news?

    Kellie's post about it:

SchoolPop (and their other ventures) still uses the Top Moxie BHO to steal credit for commissions. LinkShare, shame on you. I suppose, like before, the LS compliance department will find that popping cookies for people who are ALREADY at these merchants sites is fine. So what's changed? LS now gets the commission as well as the network fees, sweet. Guess looking at all that affiliate financial data couldn't be resisted.

LinkShare joins CJ (CJ runs pricerunner, just bought MeziMedia aff sites) in entering the market as a big AFFILIATE.

Does anyone here think ShareASale or AvantLink will be following their lead? If you can't see the difference between networks setting out to screw you and those that are not, you're not looking - your eyes are closed.

Slowly pulling links from CJ and LS to concentrate on SAS. I just like dealing with them more. Also, their merchants meet more of my needs. I have one "exclusive" on LS that I need to sweet-talk over to SAS.

It's no secret that I absolutely love SAS, but do give AvantLink a try as well, Gary's got ethics too.

Well, that was a stupid move on Rakuten's part.

    They're HUGE in Japan.
