    How to Identify Moderators
After being a member of ABW for 5 years, I just recently learned that a user's name appearing in green (rather than blue) meant s/he was a Moderator.

I see where user Merchant Consultant Team just deleted a post as it's spam; however, Merchant Consultant Team's name appears in blue. There's no indication he's a Moderator.

Regardless of the color-coding, I think we are entitled to know who the Moderators are. May I suggest that the Moderator designation appear below the screen name of the Moderators who don't already have that designation?

I am not now, nor have I ever been a moderator. :-)

I'd like to know how to identify moderators, too. I get a little confused sometimes as to who has global forum mod privileges and who has lesser privileges. It is kind of confusing.

I would like the color fluorescent orange to indicate the status of moderators.

Seriously, traffic cops in the U.S. wear fluorescent orange so why not make it a moderator color?

    What's wrong with HOT PINK?

(OK, so that's magenta, but it's as close as I could get).

    Why?

Does it make any difference in what you post, or how you post, or what you will say?

Will it make a difference in how you participate or contribute?

Who really shives a git who the mods are? I don't. Makes no difference to me.

Flaming text. My favorite design site that I used to have in my sig taught me that:

    http://www.geocities.com/superkickassdesign/

And then incorporate lightning bolts somehow. When something gets zapped, some kind of sizzling.

    Here's a quick Q ...

Do you also want me to identify forum owners as moderators (of their own forum) or will the regular and real Mod Team suffice?

Also I really liked the orange, so I've started to institute that already with the regular mods. I will still stay red, but I might also add some lightning bolts - Good idea there Trusty

BTW, Mack is right also, it really doesn't matter who is a mod but I will repsect your request as I do understand the impetus. If there ever is an issue with a particular mod or the team anyone should please feel free to email me directly and I'll work out or try to fix any issue.

Ah, I like the green better than that orange or peach. Think it's a little harder to read, kind of day-gloish, could be just me. Maybe just put Mod under the nickname. I tried changing it myself but couldn't. Maybe something like:

    Moderator - Lounge Gear Connoisseur
    Mod - Lounge Gear Connoisseur

Or something next to those 6 red balls, like the Inner Circle icon. Icon for mods or something.

I like the way the orange stands out in the online box, but it doesn't look that good in the post, your right about that ... I added the Mod tag to your name.

So now that mods' names are "orange links" isn't it like branding for PFX? It's like going from tree-hugging green to performics orange.

I liked Green too I am not an orange kinda person... or peach for that matter. And yeah, it doesn't look so good on the page.

    I like lightening bolts

I think one of the color issues is the level of moderators that is blue, that color isn't enough different to make it stand out. The green is bright and easy to spot.

Yep, the orange is hard to see.

Haiko, why not just add "moderator" under all mod's names like you did for Trust?

To me, the color really isn't important. The Moderator designation is what I like to see.

Rather than listing forum owners as moderators, maybe you could call them Forum Owner or Forum Owner Representative.

As to Mack's comments, anyone who has rights over someone else's posts should be identified.

Orange is very Halloweenish - let's go with "Seasonal colors"

And Trust's "Lounge Gear Connoisseur" is getting old

Needs to be updated to "You Post - I Move to Mod Forum" (LOL)

Loxly can be "Fastest Deleter in the West"

and Coley: "Will Moderate for Food"

    (any prizes before I continue????)
