    Stats for Cancel Thread
The Cancel thread has now reached almost 7000 posts. I am curious to see the stats of people participating in this thread e.g. number of post vs. number of person. IMO the maximum stats of 10 posts and over is ok. Could be interesting to see how people express their relaxation.

If you click on Replies, it'll pop up who posted and how many times they've posted. Here it is:

Rexanne has the lead with well over 1000 posts. 15 people are over 100 posts in the thread, with several others getting close. I didn't count, but it looks like close to 200 different people who have participated.

Is "Cancel" the official name of this game? Or did Trust just randomlly give it that name?

The "game" is word association. First thing you think of when you read the post is supposed to be your contribution.

It has twisted and turned and circled and taken off in new directions, expected and unexpected.

And when your brain is blocked, the Cancel thread can provide the key to making your brain work again Because it's free association and you are thinking "out of the box".

OMG! I can't belive I didn't know that about the "cancel" thread!! I always thought it was everyone pissed at CJ venting and telling CJ to "stick it"... I always kept on walking, never opened that thread!

I'm gonna get in on this game!

    Too funny!

It started with Trust venting about something and he then "cancel"ed his post but didn't totally delete it, then other minds took over....

    Here's the lowdown:

    http://forum.abestweb.com/showpost.p...&postcount=130

At the time I couldn't delete a thread, now I can. I think I was mad about something or somebody already started the same thread and I tried to delete it. And the cancel title I was hoping nobody would post or a mod would come along and zap it.

Somebody started a word association game thread on my site and it's slowly closing in on the ABW post count. We're almost up to 1900 posts. ABW cancel thread here I come! I've only got about 10 posts in either thread though.

    The lowdown?

    Noun: low-down
    1. Slang term for inside information
OK, so what is the real inside information about that r thread?

I have 51 post on that thread, and that thread don't bother me one bit, but what I never got was the low-down (inside information) of why it stayed on the CJ forum for ever.

I know that a lot of people says that CJ sucks because of this, or because of that, but they still work with CJ, so I still can't understand why no one has complained about that r thread bumping down other new CJ related posts.

I really don't care if that Cancel thread would be on CJ, SAS, LS, or on any other network forum and be bumping down a real post on those forums, because I always check for the New Posts after I log in, but I believe that those that just look at the index page just to see what's the latest post, or issue on the CJ forum, may not get to see it unless they log in, or search forum by forum for new posts related to that forum.

Btw, this post is not a complain about the Cancel thread, this post is just to say what I think about where it's located, but.... ...... now that I think about it some more, I think I just finally have figured out about the real low-down (inside information).

People say that CJ if full of parasites, but since they are use to it by now, then maybe they are use to see anything else on the CJ forum too.

Make me pull out my calculator why don't you

I'm averaging 380 new posts/month on my thread which started in April of this year while the cancel thread is averaging 333 new posts/month and it started in Dec of 2005. At this rate I'll pass "cancel" in 108 months, Here I come!
